De’Ja is a freelance dancer, teacher, and choreographer from Dallas, TX, currently based in NYC. She has danced professionally with Epiphany Dance Arts and Danielle Georgiou Dance Group. De’Ja received her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Oklahoma. She has trained in the Gibney Professional Training Program and Limón Launch and has performed renowned works by José Limón and Kathryn Alter.
I am a Dancer, Choreographer, Performer, and Teacher. I'm a ball of energy, full of laughter and unique moves. My work explores the freedom of self-discovery through improvisational movement. I believe dance is for everyone and should not be limited by body size. I live to break stereotypes!
